CEEN Benefits from Teacing & Learning Forum Network Funding

The CEEN Founding Board was pleased to secure Teaching & Learning Forum Network Forum and looks forward to working alongside the Forum to support the enhancement of teaching and learning in entrepreneureship education across Irish HEIs.

In October 2014, CEEN was pleased to secure network funding from the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. This establishes CEEN alongside other T&L Forum networks as the national network for enhancing the entrepreneurship education across the Irish HEI sector. This funding contributes towards CEEN's central infrastructure costs as well as helping to engage the wider HEI sector in our work.  These include a programme for engaging students in entrepreneurial learning through Student Enterprise Societies as well as a new mentoring programme for supporting educators new to entrepreneurship education.

Another area enabled through T&L Network funding is an exciting new collaboration with HECA (Higher Education Colleges Association), the national network for private HEIs. Through T&L Network funding  CEEN and HECA are working  the Enterprise Engagement in Entrepreneurship Education (EEE) Pathways & Supports Project. This initiative will focus on engaging enterprise in entrepreneurship education programmes and the objective is to produce a range of resources to help educators and employers work more closely together around the EEE curriculum.
