ACE has run a series of regional workshops for the HEI sector aimed at embedding draft HETAC EEE Guidelines, developed to assist HEIs to sustain healthy ‘entrepreneurial ecosystems’.
Embedding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education
round of workshops took place at CIT, IT Sligo, DIT and IADT in March 2013 and
a second round took place at DIT and AIT in October 2013. A total of 124 educators attended and
received practical advice on developing their EE teaching practice as well as
implementing the HETAC guidelines within their organisations.
Consortium has recently agreed a new area of collaboration with the QQI, which
will see the ACE Consortium work closely with QQI in formalising a final
version of the Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education (EEE) Guidelines. ACE’s successor body, CEEN, sees one of its
core functions being to promote these guidelines as the blueprint for
entrepreneurship education and support the wider HEI sector in their
